We’re proud to welcome you to our 15th Century pub in the village of Wombleton, surrounded by breathtaking North Yorkshire countryside.

Richard’s individual style of food has attracted many awards and accolades over the years, including listings in the Michelin Guide, and the Estrella Top 50 Gastropubs.

We have also been recognised by the 2024 Good food Guide and Estrella Top UK 100, within just a few months of opening.

The Plough is the cornerstone of what the region is about: timeless, hearty dishes with our own modern twist – with plenty of Yorkshire generosity.

We have a limited number of tables and one chef.

Walk-ins are welcomed, although booking in advance is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.

All our dishes are cooked fresh to order. For the best dining experience, we alternate sitting times.
